The Friends of the Library at Lubbock invites people to get involved

LUBBOCK, Texas — Since 1967, Friends of the Library (FOL) in Lubbock has been an integral part of the community, dedicated to bringing books to new homes, supporting local libraries, and promoting the joy of reading.

As a fully volunteer-based organization, the Friend of the Library collects donations of books and surplus library items to sell at low-cost community book sales, with every dollar raised going back to support Lubbock’s libraries, as stated by Tony Kite, a longtime volunteer.
