The third location of Los Atlantes Restaurant & Bakery opened on Park Street in April, bringing its specialty mole and chile rellenos to the south side of Madison. With a recently approved liquor license, the new location has plenty of seating and is a great place for lunch, dinner and baked goods.
Pan dulce, or sweet bread, is the term used in Mexico for the pastries sold in a panadería, or bakery. The pastry case on Park Street is massive and self-serve, with a dozen shelves filled with fresh pastries and an additional case serving day-old baked goods.
