The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced that the southbound U.S. 395 off-ramp to Parr Boulevard will be closed starting July 16 and will remain closed through late summer 2025. This closure is part of ongoing construction efforts to excavate and repave the highway in front of the ramp. Motorists can use a nearby detour via Clear Acre Lane.
Additionally, southbound lanes on U.S. 395 will be shifted from the North Virginia Street/U.S. 395 Business exit 72 to Clear Acre Lane as crews work on constructing new southbound lanes. Both lanes will be moved to newly-constructed inside lanes and will revert to their current location north of McCarran Boulevard.
Motorists are advised to remain in their lanes, drive attentively, and adhere to work zone speed limits. The ongoing multi-year project aims to widen and repave approximately four miles of U.S. 395 between North McCarran Boulevard and Golden Valley Road. This includes 24/7 lane shifts and speed reductions, with northbound U.S. 395 reduced to two lanes from Dandini Boulevard to Golden Valley Road through mid-2025.
