Life imitates art! Téa Leoni and Tim Daly, who played a married couple on the CBS political drama Madam Secretary, have officially tied the knot in real life.

The actors, who portrayed United States Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord and her husband Henry McCord, confirmed their nuptials on Tuesday. The private ceremony took place on Sunday with close family in attendance.

The couple began dating in the summer of 2014, coinciding with the start of Madam Secretary, which ran from 2014 to 2019. This is the second marriage for both Leoni and Daly.

Leoni was previously married to actor David Duchovny, with whom she has two children, and producer Neil Joseph Tardio Jr. Daly shares two children with his former wife, actor Amy Van Nostrand.

Both Leoni and Daly have enjoyed successful careers in film and television. Leoni’s credits include films such as Bad Boys, Spanglish, and Jurassic Park III, while Daly is known for his roles in Wings and Private Practice, as well as voicing Superman in several animated projects.

Earlier this year, Daly spoke about his relationship with Leoni on a podcast, describing it as “the deepest, most fun, most truly intimate relationship I’ve ever had.” Congratulations to the happy couple!
