Local shelter uses veterinary forensics to aid in animal cruelty investigations

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — One of the priorities for the Charleston Animal Society after taking over the Berkeley campus is helping with animal cruelty investigations.

Recently, they rescued 35 dogs from a Goose Creek property. The dogs are now being cared for by the shelter. Charleston Animal Society is no stranger to helping law enforcement on cases like this.
