COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus’s new water meter program, affecting over 300,000 customers, is facing backlash as residents report property damage during installations.
The city has deemed the Enhanced Water Meter Project a success, despite numerous complaints of flooded homes.
Rhoda Fegan, a resident, said her floors and drywall were damaged when the installer failed to shut off her water before replacing the meter.
