Hidden camera found in bedroom of ex allegedly linked to man accused in Kentucky rental deaths

WINCHESTER, Ky. (FOX 56) — The ex-girlfriend of Brian Epperson, the man court documents link to two suspicious deaths, reportedly found a hidden camera in her bedroom in late June.

She told officers that Epperson is the one who put it there, according to arrest records.

Epperson was arrested on June 27 when Reacheal Dawson was found dead inside a motel room booked under his name. He faces numerous charges, including murder in connection with the death of Kristen Morris, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and the latest addition, video voyeurism, which was filed on Friday, July 11.

Court documents said that officers interviewed a Winchester woman on June 30 as part of ongoing investigations at her home, where Epperson had previously lived with her. She said that he’d bought her a digital clock and put it in her bedroom.

But it wasn’t a digital clock at all, according to investigators. Officers found that it was equipped with audio and video ports, and court documents note that detectives recovered videos from the clock on Epperson’s phone following a search warrant…
