Ocala restaurant fails health inspection over improperly stored foods

A restaurant that opened this year in northwest Ocala and serves Latin American cuisine, closed its doors for one day last week after a health inspector cited the business for over 40 code violations.

El Ranchito Food Market was forced to temporarily close its location at 3334 NW Blitchton Road in Ocala on Monday, July 7, after failing a health inspection conducted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
