Toledo mayoral candidate addresses history of alcohol-related offenses

When Roberto Torres decided to run for office, he says he knew it would bring to light some of his vulnerabilities.

So the Toledo mayoral candidate addressed some of those mistakes with The Blade and shared how he has been able to learn from the experiences.

In 2011, Mr. Torres was stopped by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, according to Maumee Municipal Court records. He was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a breath concentration of 0.17 or higher…
