Rochester, N.Y. — A man who pleaded guilty in June to manslaughter in connection to a deadly shooting last year on the city’s north side was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison, according to prosecutors.
Angelito Diaz-Escalera of Rochester entered an auto shop on Hollenbeck Street Sept. 18, 2024 and shot an employee, 29-year-old Christopher Romero-Warren, several time at point-blank range, police said.
