RPD searching for recruits amid extended police exam age limit

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The maximum age limit to apply for the Rochester Police Department has been extended.

RPD says a significant change in New York’s law now allows individuals up to 43 years old to sit for an entrance exam. They add that this expands the pool of candidates eligible to pursue a law enforcement career.
