Morning traffic on River Road was brought to a standstill following a severe crash that injured several. As reported by CHP Santa Rosa, the incident involved a Chevy Silverado, a big rig rock truck, and a Ford Flex. Around 6:50 AM, the Chevy, heading westbound and operated by a solo male driver, veered into the oncoming traffic, sparking a series of collisions.
According to CHP Santa Rosa’s account, the Silverado first sideswiped the big rig, directly hitting its left rear wheel and tire, before colliding head-on with the Ford Flex. The aftermath saw the Silverado stopped in the roadway, positioned sideways, while the Flex, in an attempt to evade, ended up against a tree. Bystanders witnessing the crash could only watch as emergency services rushed to the scene.
