Many upset after tire thefts in Prince George’s County

GREENBELT, Md. (DC News Now) — Police in Greenbelt are looking for thieves who are stealing tires from vehicles.

Ricardo Dennis, the public information officer with the Greenbelt Police Department, says the suspects are doing the crimes at night and are leaving vehicles sitting on crates at apartments, shopping centers and hotels.

“We have received reports from our citizens that this week that we had four vehicles that were missing all four wheels. And residents would come out in the morning to their cars and find their vehicles sitting on crates,” Dennis said…
