Strong winds leave damage in Lincoln overnight

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – High winds, part of a line of severe storms that moved through much of eastern Nebraska, resulted in power outages and damage across the Capital City late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.

The impact weather moved through Lancaster County around midnight Wednesday.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Lancaster, Saunders, Saline, Seward, Cass, Sarpy, Gage, Butler, Otoe, Jefferson Co(s) until Jul 16 12:00AM CDT. Large hail, damaging winds, torrential rain, and frequent lightning are possible. For more info, visit… pic.twitter.com/ARM544iwGz
