The Gillespie Group has acquired the Lansing City Rescue Mission space along Michigan Avenue and plans to transform it into housing units and retail shops.
- The commercial real estate firm plans to create 16 housing units and six retail shops in the acquired buildings.
- Small businesses will be able to lease retail space for around $1,000 to $1,200 per month.
- Construction is expected to begin in October pending approval from the Lansing City Council.
