STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — Murray Middle School, which is still recovering from a tornado during Hurricane Milton last year, has received a significant boost in its rebuilding efforts with a $500,000 grant from state funding. This much-needed relief comes just less than a month before students are set to return to the classroom.
While much of the campus will be ready for the new school year, some areas are still undergoing repairs. School officials assure that all operations and programs will be available, though some may be temporarily relocated.
