Warwick stabbing victim urges state to deny attacker’s parole

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Alyssa Garcia was only 18 years old when she was nearly stabbed to death by a complete stranger.

Garcia, now 26, was working at the Rite Aid off Warwick Avenue back in March 2017. She remembers stocking a cooler right before the attack.

“The cooler was so loud, so you couldn’t hear much,” Garcia explained…
