Three Chicago suburbs have ranked among the 50 wealthiest suburbs in the country, according to a new study.
Hinsdale ranked in the top 10, landing at No. 8 on the 2025 list by GOBankingRates. Lake Forest and Wilmette also made the cut, coming in at No. 31 and No. 37, respectively.
To have been considered for the ranking, cities must contain at least 5,000 households and be part of a metropolitan statistical area. Qualifying municipalities were ranked based on average household income in 2023, according to GOBankingRates…
