NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The chief judge of the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court has ordered Sheriff Susan Hutson to appear in her courtroom on Wednesday.
Judge Tracey Flemings-Davillier said in a court document on Monday that Hutson has refused to bring inmates to court per her recent request.
Flemings-Davillier said she ordered Hutson in June to transport inmates to court on weekends and holidays beginning July 12. The judge said Hutson did not comply, refusing to bring inmates to court this past Saturday and Sunday (July 12-13)…
