ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — A health alert due to ozone was issued in the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County on Wednesday. The alert went into effect at 2 p.m. and is expected to expire at 8 p.m.

Alerts are typically issued for ozone when levels exceed 70 parts per billion over and eight-hour average, or 120 ppb in an hour.
