DENVER (KDVR) — A young bull moose was spotted in Greeley on Tuesday and after an unsuccessful attempt to capture the large animal, he was safely relocated by wildlife officers on Wednesday.
The bull moose was seen in the Josephine B. Jones Park on Tuesday, where the Greeley Police Department said he “won a game of Capture the Moose with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.”

CPW returned to the area Wednesday morning with renewed hopes to “Capture the Moose,” in which wildlife officers were successful. He was safely captured and relocated to a “more antler-friendly” area.
“No more moose-behaving for this gentleman!” the police department said on Facebook.
