RENO, Nev. — The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is advancing to the next stage of the 395 North Valleys Project, bringing significant changes for drivers. As of Wednesday, southbound lanes of Highway 395 from the North Virginia Street exit to Clear Acre Lane have been shifted into the northbound lanes, separated by a barrier, to facilitate the construction of new southbound lanes.
Meg Ragonese, NDOT’s Public Information Officer, said, “Crews have been working up to six days a week, making substantial progress on this project and that will continue.”
Despite the traffic switch, Ragonese assured drivers that they will still see the same number of travel lanes and average travel times through the work zone. However, the southbound Parr Boulevard exit is now closed for repaving in the area…
