BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a California City man who was reported missing in October 2024 and died of natural causes.
Officials with the coroner’s office said human remains were found on April 19 in the 9000 Block of Redwood Boulevard. Using DNA, the remains were identified as Phillip Wayne Whitmill, 74, on July 9.
