Authorities Describe Horrific Scene as One of the Worst Cases of Animal Abuse Ever Encountered
A Georgia couple is facing severe animal cruelty charges after authorities discovered over 250 animals living in “horrid conditions,” with many severely neglected or dead, at their home. The case, which local officials are calling “one of the worst” instances of animal abuse they’ve ever seen, led to the arrest of Nathaniel Levon Curington, 44, and Aimee Renee Curington, 45, on July 9.
Investigators descended upon the Curingtons’ residence on Sells Lane in Trenton following reports of animal abuse.
