Kalamazoo Open Roads Bike Program opens new location in Edison Neighborhood

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo’s Open Roads Bike Program is officially opening their new home in the Edison Neighborhood.

With help from the Kalamazoo Community Foundation and a loan through the foundation’s Impact Investment Team, the program has taken over the former KalBlue site on East Vine Street, according to officials.

The move marks a “major milestone” for the non-profit. In this new space, the non-profit’s programming and hours have been expanded, deepening its “impact on local youth development and cyclists of all ages,” officials said in a release Thursday…
