LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — New testimony during a preliminary hearing Tuesday shed more light on what led to the arrest of 28-year-old Nathaniel Danzy, who is charged with murder in the May shooting death of 25-year-old Zemondric Hall.
Lexington Police Detective Jody Kizis testified that on May 28, officers responded to the Bridle Creek Apartments on Nicholasville Road after a shots-fired call. Kizis said a property employee directed officers to a vehicle where Hall was found with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Kizis, witnesses reported seeing a man running from the scene and a black Nissan speeding away. One witness told police they saw the man shooting at the vehicle Hall was in. Investigators later determined that Hall and Danzy were roommates at the apartment…
