Winter Park city officials, performers and the community were on hand July 12 for the dedication of Unity Corner at Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The goal of the project was to capture the continued influence of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Along with the statue of Dr. King, created by artist Andrew Luy, the memorial includes the names of people who were displaced in the 1950s to make way for the park.
