BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A woman in West Baton Rouge Parish was on her laptop inside her home when bad weather passed over, causing her to get shocked on Thursday, authorities said.
The Brusly Police Department and West Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to a home just before 9:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Oakleaf Court. They investigated an electrocution from a lightning strike in the backyard of a home.
