VERDI, Nev. (KOLO) – The Reno Fire Department quickly knocked down a fire that blackened trees in a 30 by 20 foot area in Verdi on Wednesday, July 16, according to an agency spokesperson.
Firefighters were wetting the area near Gold Ranch Casino and RV Resort after a full-brush response about 6:30 p.m.
The fire was near a power line, which could have caused outages in the area…
