ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) – While things are remaining fairly dry for the eastern half of the state, active weather out west will keep clouds and rain in the forecast. This comes as a fairly stationary area of low pressure in the Bering Sea, which keeps ongoing rain showers and gusty conditions across Western Alaska.

Rain showers from yesterday paved the way for some gorgeous sunshine yesterday evening. While some cloud cover has streamed back in across Southcentral, we will see a gradual return to sunshine throughout the day. While we can’t rule out a spot shower today, most locations will remain on the dry side.
