A suspect has been charged after a deadly crash in Western North Carolina. The Asheville Police Department responded to a crash on I-40 near mile marker 51, on the morning of July 6th.
Police say, a Ford Truck towing a trailer hit a vehicle that was broken down on the shoulder of the road. The driver of the disabled vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
He’s been identified as 35 year old, Carlos Alfredo Amaya-Segovia. Police say, the suspect driver 62 year old William Francis Smith turned himself in, earlier today…
