(WBFF) — Two years after Ivan Bates was elected as Baltimore’s State’s Attorney, he continues to defend his policies against criticism from his predecessor, Marilyn Mosby.
Bates, who campaigned on a “get tough” approach, has been vocal about reversing Mosby’s policies, which he claims led to a surge in crime.
“For far too long the State’s Attorney’s Office has tried to be all things to all people and it has not worked,” Bates said during his inauguration. He warned those carrying illegal firearms in Baltimore to “grab your toothbrush too cause you’re gonna need it.”…
