MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — There’s a new wave of relief for residents in Montgomery County still recovering from this year’s devastating floods. County officials have approved a property tax break for homeowners who suffered significant damage a measure that comes in addition to existing FEMA disaster assistance.
The announcement brings a sense of hope for residents like Candace Payne, who lives on Elberta Drive in Clarksville, one of the neighborhoods hit hardest by the floods.
