COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michael Dyer, deputy chief of Comstock Township Fire and Rescue, was arrested after he hit a child while driving drunk last month, according to a police report obtained by News Channel 3 through a Freedom of Information request.
The incident happened just after midnight on June 22 in Comstock Township.
Deputies were called on reports that a possible drunk driver was weaving in and out of traffic on East Michigan Avenue, the report from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office detailed.
