A woman was found dead while animal control officials were conducting an animal neglect investigation in Lexington, according to Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control.
Animal control said it received a report of horses without water but couldn’t contact the horses’ owner, who was known to the agency. Officials cared for the owner’s horses and contacted the Lexington Police Department
