PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A 27-year-old former R.I. National Guard member accused of killing a Providence man almost six years to the day was found guilty of murder by a judge on Thursday.
Court records show Associate Justice Maureen Keough found Troy Ingram guilty of first-degree murder and mutilation of dead human bodies — both felonies — after a bench trial took place over a four-day period in May and June. (Ingram waived his right to a jury trial in May.)
