PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Is Gov. Dan McKee in much better political shape than widely believed?
That was the argument implied Wednesday by Morning Consult, a Washington-based media outlet that for years has published quarterly surveys testing the job approval ratings of governors and senators across all 50 years.
Morning Consult’s latest survey showed McKee’s job approval rating at 45%, up from 43% in the firm’s previous survey three months earlier — and far better than the approval ratings between 19% and 25% that the incumbent Democrat has scored in other recent surveys…
