SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two decades ago, Jessica Sanchez, a 10-year-old singer from Chula Vista, auditioned for the first season of the “America’s Got Talent” competition and made it all the way to the semifinals.
Sanchez, now 29, returned to the AGT stage to audition for the show’s 20th season. After singing her rendition of Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” Sanchez received applause from the audience, praise from all of the judges and a Golden Buzzer from judge Sofia Vergara. Her audition episode aired on Tuesday, July 15.
She will now advance to the live shows of the competition…
