San Francisco police raided a house in central Vallejo last Wednesday, joined by investigators from the FBI and the U.S. State Department.
The operation began with a stakeout around 12:55 p.m., according to Vallejo police records. The records indicate that San Francisco police advised Vallejo officers that four armed plainclothes officers would be present on the 800 block of Lassen Street. Members of the San Francisco Police Department’s Tactical Unit entered the home around 5 p.m.
San Francisco Burglary Unit investigators searched the property and nearby vehicles, reviewing and removing documents, a Jeep, and other evidence. Open Vallejo also observed investigators from the FBI and the U.S. State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service enter the home. Police made no arrests during the operation, San Francisco police spokesperson Ofc. Robert Rueca wrote in an email on Tuesday.
An FBI spokesperson confirmed in an email to Open Vallejo Saturday that the agency assisted in the investigation, which was led by San Francisco police.
