The Old Vine Conference — a London-based nonprofit dedicated to preserving and promoting the world’s oldest vineyards — is bringing its flagship, annual event to the U.S. for the first time.
Titled “Meeting of the Minds,” this year’s conference will take place Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 in Sonoma and Napa counties, Lodi and Clarksburg, where some of the state’s most historic vineyards reside.
Worldwide, old vineyards are becoming increasingly threatened due to their low yields, lack of protection, changing wine market trends and increasing land value. The Old Vine Conference aims to bring the global wine community together to build support for their preservation…
