Fighting back: Wilmington congregation mends, rehangs Pride flag on church after slashing

It didn’t take long for The Church of the Holy City leadership and its congregation to land on a plan of action after someone climbed over the Wilmington church’s fence and slashed its Pride flag nearly in half.

The flag in the rear yard of the church at Pennsylvania Avenue and North Broom Street was almost immediately replaced in the same spot where it had been hung between two trees.
