WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities allegedly uncovered a stolen firearm, high-capacity magazine, and drugs during a traffic stop earlier this week.
According to the New Castle County Division of Police, detectives from the department’s Active Crime Trend Team initiated a traffic stop around 9:21 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, near Alban Drive and Maryland Avenue. The vehicle, a black Chevrolet Malibu, was reportedly operated by 25-year-old Damean Dunham of Wilmington.
During the stop, detectives say they discovered a loaded handgun with a high-capacity magazine inside the vehicle. A subsequent check revealed that the firearm had been reported stolen from Philadelphia. Investigators also allege they found a small quantity of crack cocaine in Dunham’s possession…
