CANTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Canton police announced four suspects have been arrested in connection to a May 2025 shooting that injured a woman.
The suspects were identified as Christopher Gardner, Ahkeem Luckett, Artavious Lewis and Tazavier Elder. They were charged with aggravated assault, discharging/displaying firearm and shooting into a dwelling.

According to police, multiple shots were fired at the Brooklyn Mart store on Washington Street just before 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20.
Witnesses said two suspects jumped out of a vehicle and opened fire at someone who was entering the store. Police said a parked vehicle was hit by several bullets, and a woman inside the car was grazed by a bullet.
