Instagram Show-Off ‘Hellcat Mike’ Gets 10 Years After 100+ MPH Police Chase Ends in Crash

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX – Michael Altravion Wilson, also known as “Hellcat Mike,” was sentenced to the maximum 10 years in prison on July 7, 2025, after pleading guilty to felony Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle, Fort Bend County District Attorney Brian M. Middleton announced.

Wilson, 39, of San Antonio, led a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) trooper on a high-speed pursuit in February 2024. According to prosecutors, DPS Trooper Corral attempted to stop Wilson, who was driving a Dodge Hellcat with a fictitious New York license plate reading “MAFIA,” on I-10 in Katy. Wilson accelerated rapidly, weaving through traffic before temporarily evading law enforcement.

Trooper Corral later caught up to the vehicle when traffic slowed. Wilson again attempted to flee but clipped a landscaping truck and crashed into a barrier, deploying the vehicle’s airbags. Data showed Wilson was traveling over 100 mph at the time of the crash with the gas pedal fully depressed…
