DENVER (KDVR) — A young bull moose was spotted in Colorado this week, and after an unsuccessful attempt to capture the animal, it was safely relocated by wildlife officers.
The bull moose was seen in the Josephine B. Jones Park on Tuesday, where the Greeley Police Department said he “won a game of Capture the Moose with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.” The young moose had been spotted near a subdivision on Tuesday, according to the Evans Police Department.

CPW returned to the area Wednesday morning with renewed hopes to “Capture the Moose,” in which wildlife officers were successful. He was safely captured and relocated to a “more antler-friendly” area.
“No more moose-behaving for this gentleman!” the police department said on Facebook.
