Oahu joins nationwide celebration of Rep. John Lewis Day with ‘Rally for Good Trouble’

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Local civil rights groups held a rally Thursday at the Hawaii State Public Library in honor of the late U.S. Rep. John Lewis and his motto of making “good trouble” to protect civil and human rights.

The “Rally for Good Trouble” is part of a nationwide celebration of John Lewis Day, a national day of nonviolent action to stand up for human rights.
