FLETCHER, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Fletcher Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a truck involved in a road rage incident in a residential neighborhood on July 16.
Officers responded around 4:24 p.m. to a report of a disturbance on North Sunberry Trail in the Livingston Farms community. According to police, a bicyclist was followed by a truck from the area of Patty’s Chapel and Jackson Road. The driver continued to follow the cyclist onto Running Briar and then onto North Sunberry Trail.
Authorities say the truck was driven recklessly down the residential street, where children were present, and the driver reportedly threatened to kill the bicyclist during a verbal altercation before fleeing the area…
