No survivors after car plunges into Tennessee River in Harrison Friday, sheriff says

HARRISON, Tenn. — A rescue operation has turned into one of recovery after a car plunged into the Tennessee River Friday, authorities say. Right now, it’s unclear how many people were in the car.

This happened at about noon near where Highway 58 intersects with Hunter Road.
