Harrisburg man writes break-up note before setting house on fire with woman inside: police

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An alleged arsonist is behind bars after police said he left a break-up note in the basement before setting the home ablaze with a woman inside.

Nathaniel Harner, 39, of Harrisburg, was charged with attempted homicide after allegedly starting fires in a home on in the 6200 block of Locust Street shortly after midnight July 13.

After putting out the blaze, fire investigators found three separate fires had been set in the home: one in the living room, one in the master bedroom and one in the basement…
