MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Severe Weather Center 13 hasn’t predicted the forecast for September in Memphis just yet, but one band isn’t taking any chances.
The Steve Miller Band canceled their entire 2025 tour on Thursday, including a scheduled September 19 Live at the Garden performance at Memphis’ Radians Amphitheater.
The band announced the cancellations on their website, saying, “You make music with your instincts. You live by your instincts. Always trust your instincts. The Steve Miller Band has cancelled all of our upcoming tour dates. The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires make these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable. So…You can blame it on the weather…The tour is cancelled.”…
